The closer the Streetscape election gets, the more bizarre the arguments against it have become.
Consider this from Hank Borgman’s latest missive to the Farmington Observer (which according to the latest edition of “Hank Notes” isn’t publishing every letter he writes in response to those who look askance at his logic – Hank needs a blog): “Women with foot problems and those wearing high heels complain about walking on paver bricks. Irregular surfaces turn their ankles, and pavers are slippery when wet.”
Clearly, Hank has never worn heels while walking in Downtown Farmington. Else he would know that a) all sidewalks become irregular surfaces when you’re in heels, and b) any wet surface presents a significant danger to those wearing heels higher than a half-inch.
Based on my experience, of course.

I just looked at the pretty picture on this site and now my image is soiled with the image of Hank wearing high heels.

Jarring, isn’t it?

Plenty.
Show me where I might find a drawing that contains the suggested traffic light and/or signage placement. I don’t think my previously written imagination was well received and I’m too busy to mock one up with photoshop.
I like the thumbnail by the way…..how do I add mine to a post?

I don’t think anything that detailed is on-line. You’d have to go look at the plans – the DDA office or city hall should have them.
The thumbnail is part of the profile set up when you create an account. I’ve had this account for more than two years and I just figured that out. Slow learner.
