One Downtown Farmington business owner, who admits to a weariness with the effects of construction on her business, wrote a glowing letter in favor of the streetscape project in today’s Farmington Press. The owner of Merle Norman (in the Downtown Farmington Business Center) wrote that while she initially was inclined to oppose the streetscape, she took some time to learn about the project. After seeing the way it will be managed so as to keep business access open and examining the amenities that will be added, she changed her mind.
